I was up at about 5:00 AM to let Pete out. He went to the backyard and went down a terrace and to the far end of the yard. I got my wife, son, and daughter-in-law up and we went to get him. We brought him up to the patio and were helping him up the two steps to the back door when he suddenly let out a sharp cry and pitched himself up and backwards into my son's arms. He died there.
    Pete

I have had a hard time letting go of him. Pete was very special. He required a lot of extra attention and care, but I have never regretted any of the time or money spent on him. My only regret is that he did not make it in spite of my and Dr. Comito's efforts.

In memory of his dog, Pete.

Pete was cared for by Dr. Robert Comito of Polk City Veterinary Hospital
