Research Interests / Areas of Expertise:
Dr. Fales-Williams researches infectious diseases of the respiratory tract, with emphasis on Rhodococcus equi pneumonia of foals. She also studies the utilization of immunohistochemistry for tissue sections and cytologies for classification of neoplastic cell types, as well as antimicrobial peptides and innate immunity.
