Research Interests / Areas of Expertise:
Dr. Harris' research focuses on infectious diseases of swine and humans, specifically human foodborne pathogens and the reduction of human foodborne Salmonella in swine. He also studies xenotransplantation, probiotics, and prebiotics, as well as working on the elimination of porcine reproductive respiratory syndrome virus without depopulation.
